Installing the Child Theme

How to install and activate the Ripple child theme on your WordPress website.

Your download includes a ZIP file for the Ripple child theme. Keep this file zipped because WordPress installs the theme directly from the archive.

Before continuing, confirm that the Divi 5 parent theme is installed and active.

Install Ripple

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.

2. Go to Appearance → Themes.

3. Click Add New Theme.

4. Click Upload Theme.

5. Click Choose File and select the Ripple child-theme ZIP file.

6. Click Install Now.

7. When installation completes, click Activate.

Ripple should now appear as the active theme.

If Installation Fails

• If WordPress reports that the parent theme is missing, install and activate Divi 5 first.

• If WordPress reports an invalid theme or missing stylesheet, upload the original Ripple child-theme ZIP file rather than the complete download package or an unzipped folder.
