Importing Demo Content

Import the complete Ripple demo website and start customizing it with Divi 5.

After activating Ripple, a new Ripple menu item appears in the WordPress dashboard. Open it to access the demo importer.

For the cleanest result, import the demo on a fresh WordPress installation. If the site already contains content, create a full backup first.

Import the Ripple Demo

1. In the WordPress dashboard, click Ripple.

2. Open the demo import page.

3. Review the available import options.

4. On a fresh site, leave all options selected so the pages, media, menus, Theme Builder templates, presets, and settings are imported.

5. Uncheck any content you do not want to import.

6. Click Import Demo Content.

The import may take several minutes. Keep the browser tab open and do not refresh the page while it is running.

Wait for the success message before leaving the importer.

After the Import

Review the site and confirm that:

• The Ripple pages are present

• The main navigation is assigned

• Images and demo content loaded correctly

• The Theme Builder templates are active

You can now replace the demo content and continue to Change Color Scheme.

The optional Remove Demo Content & Import Functions action removes the importer from the dashboard; it does not delete content you have already imported.

We recommend keeping the importer available until your site is complete. Its Restore Content option can restore individual demo pages or all supplied pages without repeating the full import.
