# Ripple

Everything you need to install, import, and customize the Ripple child theme for Divi 5.

Ripple is a modern, free child theme built for creative agencies, freelancers, studios, consultants, and service businesses using Divi 5. It includes four responsive pages, reusable sections, global design variables, and a guided demo importer to help you launch faster.

This documentation walks you through installing the theme, importing the demo content, changing the site-wide color scheme, and importing the included Advanced Custom Fields configuration.

#### Requirements

Before installing Ripple, make sure you have:

* A working WordPress website
* Divi 5 installed and activated
* The latest Ripple child-theme ZIP file
* A fresh WordPress installation, recommended for the cleanest demo import

**Back up your website before importing demo content or changing themes.** If you are working on an existing site, use a staging environment whenever possible.

#### Recommended Server Settings

For a smoother import, we recommend these PHP limits or higher:

* `upload_max_filesize`: 512M
* `max_input_time`: 300
* `memory_limit`: 512M
* `max_execution_time`: 1000
* `post_max_size`: 512M

You can review your current values under **Divi → Support Center → System Status**. Contact your hosting provider if a limit needs to be increased.

#### What to Do Next

Start by installing and activating Ripple. After activation, use the included demo importer to add the supplied pages, media, menus, Theme Builder templates, presets, and demo settings.

Continue to **Installing the Child Theme**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.divisupply.com/ripple.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
