Wishlist Module

Divi Ecommerce Modules includes its own wishlist system, so you do not need a separate wishlist plugin. Customers can save products from supported product modules and review them on a page built with the Wishlist module.

Add products to a wishlist

Enable the Wishlist product element in Product Grid or Product Carousel. A heart action appears on supported product cards, allowing customers to save or remove the product.

For variable products, the saved item can keep its selected variation when one is available.

Display saved products

Add the Wishlist module to a dedicated page, then choose the layout that best fits your design:

  • Grid for visual product cards

  • List for a wider row layout

  • Table for a structured desktop-friendly view

  • Compact List for narrow areas or simpler wishlists

Product elements

Choose the details and actions customers need. Key options include product image, title, selected variation, price, stock, quantity, Add to Cart, and Remove.

Keep the layout focused. For example, quantity is useful when customers plan purchases in advance, while a compact inspiration list may only need image, title, price, and Remove.

Search and sorting

Enable the toolbar to help customers manage longer wishlists. Search filters the saved items by text, while sorting changes their order without affecting the products in the list.

Quantity and Add to Cart

When quantity is enabled, customers can set the amount they want before using Add to Cart. The chosen wishlist quantity carries into the cart where the product supports that quantity.

Unavailable or out-of-stock products remain clear to the customer instead of showing a purchase action that cannot succeed.

Private sharing

Wishlist sharing is optional. When enabled for an owner, Copy Private Share Link copies an unguessable read-only URL directly to the clipboard. Anyone with that URL can view the shared list, but cannot edit the owner's wishlist.

Guests and logged-in customers

Guests can use the wishlist without creating an account. Their wishlist is kept for their browser session. When a guest logs in, saved items can merge into that customer's account wishlist.

Logged-in customers can use account-owned lists and, when the related controls are enabled, manage multiple lists and privacy choices.

Empty wishlist

The module includes a customizable empty state. Use a short title, helpful description, and optional button that sends customers back to your shop or a featured collection.

Design and troubleshooting

The Design tab includes focused areas for the header, toolbar, item cards or rows, typography, quantity, actions, sharing, bulk controls, and empty state.

If the Wishlist module does not appear in Divi, enable it under Divi Ecommerce → Modules and reload the Builder. If product hearts are missing, also confirm Wishlist is enabled in the product elements of Advanced Shop Grid Module or Product Carousel.
